Bicycle tours
Until the 1950s, most Italians used to travel by bicycle. Today it is no longer a means of transport but a means of leisure and slow enjoyment of our free time.
The Sienese area has also been crossed by the Eroica, a 205-kilometre itinerary in the heart of the Terre di Siena, beyond the Val d'Orcia through Chianti and the Crete, among villages, vineyards, olive groves, and hills, in full DOC "Tuscan atmosphere", to be tackled unhurriedly, perhaps in stages, following one's own level of training, abilities and needs.
