VILLA NAXOS

Villa Naxos is set in one of the most enchanting areas of Sicily, within a countryside estate surrounded by lush citrus groves, between the sea and the majestic Mount Etna. Elegant and spacious, the property perfectly embodies the charm of Sicilian rural living, offering refined interiors, beautiful gardens, a conservatory, a panoramic belvedere, as well as a swimming pool and a tennis court. The experience is enhanced by a dedicated staff, including a highly talented chef.

The garden is a true highlight, created with passion by the owner: a meticulously landscaped setting featuring pines, oleanders, acacias, carob trees, agaves, and yucca palms, alongside Mediterranean aromatic plants such as bay, lavender, and myrtle. Of particular note is the “palmeto”, an impressive collection of palm species from around the world, complemented by a unique desert garden showcasing a variety of cacti. Crossing the grounds, you reach a bright conservatory furnished with large, comfortable sofas and enriched by an elegant lava stone fireplace.

The main residence has been recently restored, carefully preserving the traditional architectural features of the region while seamlessly incorporating modern comforts. Arranged over two levels, it offers eight bedrooms – four on each floor – all decorated with traditional furnishings and vintage craftsmanship. Each room features either a private terrace or direct access to the garden.

On the upper floor, there is also a refined library, ideal for relaxing moments with a curated selection of books and magazines provided by the owner, perhaps while enjoying a tea or a cocktail. On the same level, the belvedere offers stunning views of Mount Etna and is perfect for yoga, meditation, or simply enjoying moments of complete tranquility.

By the pool area, a dependance is available upon request, offering two ensuite bedrooms, a patio, and a cozy living room.

Completing the experience, a magnificent swimming pool, a sauna, and a floodlit tennis court allow guests to enjoy every moment of the day, including the evening hours. Much of the estate is dedicated to the organic cultivation of oranges, mandarins, and clementines, while the surrounding woodland extends towards the slopes of Monte San Basilio. Guests also have the opportunity to purchase seasonal produce directly from the property.
