Majella Park

The Mother Mountain of Abruzzo in the most fascinating and wildest part of the Central Apennines. The Mountain of the Wolf, the Bear and the Holy Hermits. In addition to its overwhelming nature, Majella is extraordinarily rich in historical, archaeological and architectural remains. The peaks reach 2793 metres at Monte Amaro, but the whole area of the park is rich in gorges, springs, waterfalls, overhangs, a fantastic landscape to explore on foot, horseback or mountain bike.
