CASTELLO DI MAGONA

The Magona Castle can accommodate 20 or 26 people.
The ground floor of the villa consists of several lounges with period furnishings in keeping with the style of the castle. There is a large entrance hall hanging with antique paintings and coats of arms, on which there are three splendid sitting rooms, two of these living rooms with fireplace and settee, one of these with Sky TV and DVD player and hi-fi music. The third is a reading table with a desk with an antique wooden desk. At the same level there is a fully equipped professional kitchen and another small room next to the kitchen with a fridge and all the necessary staff for meal service. There is a beautiful dining room with a fireplace decorated with frescoes and majolica tiles with a large rectangular table for all guests.
From the main entrance the stairs to the left and / or right lead to the middle, upper and tower floors of the castle and the thirteen characteristic rooms (11 rooms have their own bathrooms, while 2 rooms share 1 bathroom). It has 7 double bedrooms, 5 suites and a special Grand Duke Master suite each individually decorated with different color schemes and many with hand-painted ceilings, frescos and numerous antiques. The rooms are equipped with modern comforts such as air conditioning, digital TV and unlimited 20Mbps wifi connection and 6 Mbps upload. The Wi Fi internet connection also covers the entire internal villa, the rose garden and the pool area.
The mature gardens sweep all around the castle and the main entrance opens onto the beautiful pink rear garden, where there is a lovely outdoor dining area with a rectangular marble table for all comforts and an outdoor living area with comfortable settee and umbrellas perfect for relaxing while enjoying the view towards the rose garden. The original stone steps lead from the garden to the villa's private swimming pool (12m x 6m, depth from 1.20m to 2.20m) situated in a secluded location below. The pool area, shaded by pine trees and overlooking the olive grove, has a hot tub.

On request the villa's staff offers many services: catering organization including lunches and dinners, laundry, additional cleaning and even day trips and excursions.

Note: the kitchen can only be used by catering staff and cannot be used by guests.

Rates per night for exclusive use of the Castle.
minimun stay 7 nights, on request prices for 3 and 2 nights during certain periods of the year.
Mandatory utilities (gas, water and electricity) cost €250 per night and are payable on arrival.
