Description

An artist's study in one of the most fashionable streets in North Trastevere. Here Giorgio De Chirico and Filippo de Pisis had their study in early twentieth century and both depicted the house as various other artists.
In the forties it became the most famous candle factory in town, due also to the adjacency to the Vatican, until the actual owners bought it in the early eighties for doing it their residential home.
Residenza della Rovere is one of the quietest and romantic non through streets in the heart of Rome at a few minutes walking distance from San Pietro, Piazza Farnese, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona.
250 sq. meters (2,700 sq. feet) of terraces gives you the opportunity of enjoying the magic 'serate romane' or taking a sun-bath under the Roman sun.
The four stories 450 sq. meters (4,850 sq. feet) house can sleep six in three comfortable bedrooms and three en suite bathrooms, has a private parking and large living and dining spaces.
Residenza della Rovere is located on top of a non-through road at the foot of the Gianicolo hill. Even though at few steps from the Tiber you won't hear any traffic noise and you will be able to park your car just in front of the entrance door.
Within 15 minutes walking distance you have the most important art sites in town as St Peter and the Vatican Museums, Castel Sant'Angelo, Palazzo Farnese and its Piazza, Villa Farnesina, Villa Corsini and its magic botanical garden, San Pietro in Montorio with its Tempietto del Bramante, Santa Maria in Trastevere and many many more. So many that a full week won't be absolutely sufficient to visit them all.
Some bicycles are at guest's disposal for better enjoying the maze of narrow streets that characterizes the Roman historical center.
