Verona

After Rome, Verona is the second city in Italy with extraordinarily well-preserved Roman remains: the amphitheatre, the magnificent backdrop of Piazza Bra, the Roman Theatre, the Ponte Pietra, the Gavi Arch, the Porta dei Leoni and Porta Borsari, to name but a few of the most important ancient architectural monuments in this UNESCO World Heritage city, which, like unexpected treasures, are offered to visitors who pass through the well-preserved city walls.

Not to be missed in the vicinity of the city are the gardens of Palazzo Giusti, the vineyards of Valpolicella, the walled cities, the Pojega garden, and the Veja bridge.
