The Val d'Orcia

The Val d'Orcia, a Unesco World Heritage Site for the beauty of its extraordinary landscape, is the work of both Nature and man. Soft hills that change colour with the changing seasons, expanses of vineyards where some of Tuscany's best DOCG wines are produced, olive groves, white roads lined with slender rows of cypress trees, medieval villages perched on hilltops and that silence that smacks of serenity and you feel it deep inside.
