The new year brings a lot of novelties: where do we start from? First of all we are living our twenty-third year of life and we still feel the same passion and enthusiasm of October 1986. After years of demanding restoration our offices are now in the farmhouse Greppomagni, still in San Quirico d’Orcia, 800 mt far from the village. Working every day with bright spots of the Val d’Orcia landscape in front of us is an extraordinary experience.

From June 2008, with updated reprint every year, our guests will receive directly in the location of their holidays “Istruzioniperluso.com”, the first guide of the Verdidea Handbooks including useful information, ideas, suggestions to live deeply and consciously the Siennese terroir.

We are indeed more and more interested in creating network, in working with others on different projects and ideas, in contributing to give visibility to the creativity expressed by our land. Sincerely tired of a “patinated cover” version of Tuscany, we aim at enriching of meaning the holiday of our guests with moments of cultural widening, occasions to go into the passions or experiment something new.

It is worth while mentioning our new program “To get married in Tuscany”, carried out thanks to the positive collaboration with Elisabeth.

We believe in the equality of the human rights and we proudly offer both gay and hetero weddings. In May the new Verdidea web will be on line, with a renewed layout, with more information and better consultation. In December 2008 a “rib of Verdidea” generated Otium, a modern-antiques laboratory collecting various articles before and after ‘900 and organising from springtime thematic auctions. So, our trip goes on with a new joy.
